Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Enter Plaintiff’s Demand: Input the plaintiff’s demand for the current round.

  2. Enter Defendant’s Offer: Input the defendant’s offer for the current round.

  3. Add Round: Click “Add Round”. The tool will automatically:

    • Record the plaintiff’s demand and defendant’s offer for the round.

    • Calculate the midpoint between the two.

    • Update the running average of all midpoints.

  4. Repeat for Each Round: Continue entering data for each round. The tool will track offers, demands, midpoints, and the running average automatically.

  5. Export CSV: Click to generate and download a CSV file of the table, ready to open in Excel or other spreadsheet programs.

  6. The Use of Brackets: This tracker is for tracking negotiations. If you switch to using brackets, open the separate bracket tracker. Once the parties finalize midpoints in brackets, you can return here and enter those midpoints as a new round’s demand and offer.
